RRS caught stealing footage!

If you guys notice in this post, the "Margaret Downey" video no longer works. It came from RRS, but why isn't it up anymore? Well, apparently RRS stole the footage from a fella named ThinkerHA. Notice the comment section:

ThinkerHA (1 day ago)
This video starts at the same point, ends at the same point, and has the same length as the one I captured. Did you take this video from my account watch?v=NqARr-Q1WkI and not even bother asking me nor giving me credit for capturing it and putting if online?

RRS have been stealing footage from a number of people throughout the web. As you guys may recall it got them banned from youtube twice. However, RRS cited the fair use doctrine as an excuse for them stealing footage. I just don't see why they pulled the Margaret Downey video then. What a bunch of idiots!

That's what I love about YouTube. Even though the videos can be removed, the comments stay, apparently forever, or at least for months. All you need to do to bring them up is get the unique string of letters and numbers YT assigns to each video and put them at the end of this URL:

http://www.youtube.com/comment_servlet?all_comments&v=

And you will get all the comments sans video. Cool, neh?

So, more hypocrisy from the RRS. These people just can't help making themselves look bad.

Unless I'm mistaken, it's only theft if the material is copyrighted by the poster, which it wasn't since it wasn't personally filmed by him. Reposting non-copyright protected material is not theft.
